ZBD names McEachran VP of Operations

March 4, 2008 - John McEachran has been appointed to the new position of Vice-President of Operations at ZBD, the creators and suppliers of EPOP wireless 'e-paper' solutions to the retail industry.
McEachran, who has a 28-year background in the display and silicon industry, was formerly Director of Operations at MicroEmissive Displays, where he established and developed manufacturing and assembly sites in Europe and Asia. At Fujitsu he was responsible for semiconductor and LCD manufacturing, and worked closely with Japanese counterparts to ensure the highest levels of quality in all operations in the compound semiconductor industries.
Clive Mayne, CEO at ZBD, said "Under John's expert guidance, our manufacturing operations will be even better placed to deliver the quality and reliability standards we and our customers demand. His manufacturing experience will be invaluable to our sales and product development teams and will bring us added flexibility to incorporate the design requirements of a diverse customer base."
